What is a Pilates Reformer?
A Pilates Reformer is an apparatus allowing you to complete pilates exercise off the ground. Conventional pilates typically involves these exercises to be done on the floor, the reformer allows you to get rid of the mat and introduces different levels of resistance created by its pulley and spring system. The machines setup makes it easier to complete the same muscle exercises done on the floor with less strain and maximized benefits.
How can I get the most from Pilates?
Be consistent. Also, be mentally present. Approach your session as if it is a break from a hectic day. Enjoy the time you spend engaging in pilates exercises and you will benefit more than you can imagine. Remember, Pilates is both a physical and mental exercise.
